Bajaj Auto FY21 annual report highlights
Focus on premiumization and exports have helped Bajaj Auto to outperform the two-wheeler sector. In Domestic Business, Premium bikes hold ground, where the company witnessed a fundamental change in urban India’s approach as purchases of KTM bikes continued to strengthen in performance. The Domestic three-wheeler segment saw muted volumes due to a hit by the pandemic, but it has maintained a substantial foothold. The Export Business fared well for the company in all segments, and the net sales grew to 46.8% in FY21.
In FY22, the company aims to strengthen its position in the premium segment and further strive to launch Triumph and Chetak in additional cities.
