Bajaj Auto board approves ₹1,364 crore investment in Netherlands arm
Bajaj Auto Ltd. has approved an investment of up to €150 million (approximately ₹1,364 crore) in its subsidiary, Bajaj Auto International Holdings BV (BAIH BV) based in the Netherlands, to support its international growth. This investment will be made in various forms such as equity or loans, depending on BAIH BV’s needs, and will be completed by March 31, 2026. BAIH BV specializes in investment activities, and the capital infusion is aimed at seizing emerging investment opportunities, strengthening Bajaj Auto’s global presence. The investment also aligns with Bajaj Auto’s focus on increasing its stake in Austrian bikemaker KTM AG, where it currently holds a significant share through its associate, Pierer Bajaj AG. This move follows KTM AG’s judicial restructuring, with no major impact on co-developed products for India and select export markets.
