Bajaj hits record sales of over 26,000 vehicles on Gudi Padwa weekend
Bajaj Auto achieved record-breaking two-wheeler sales over the Gudi Padwa weekend, selling 26,938 vehicles, including motorcycles and electric Chetak scooters, marking nearly a sixth of its March registrations. Maharashtra saw unprecedented sales with 4,377 units, a 117% growth from last year, driven by strong demand for the new premium Chetak 35 series. The company’s robust distribution network, especially in Maharashtra with over 1,200 dealers, and the launch of the Chetak 35 series priced between ₹1.30 lakh and ₹1.42 lakh, significantly boosted sales. Overall, Bajaj registered 30,133 electric Chetaks and 129,012 motorcycles in March.
