Sunaina Kejriwal – Director, Kamalnayan Bajaj Hall & Art Gallery

Mrs. Sunaina Kejriwal was the Director of the Kamalnayan Bajaj Hall & Art Gallery. She held a B.H.Sc degree from the S.N.D.T. College, Pune, specializing in Textiles. She had completed a one-year Silk Screen Printing course at Sophia College, Mumbai. Additionally, she had earned a Post Graduate Diploma in ‘The History of Indian Art – Modern & Contemporary & Curatorial Studies’ from the Bhau Daji Lad Museum.

Sunaina was from the Bajaj family, which had been closely involved with Gandhiji in India’s Freedom Struggle. The family, through the Jamnalal Bajaj Foundation, has played a significant role in the restoration of many heritage structures, with the Bhau Daji Lad Museum being one of the most notable. The family has numerous charitable trusts and was engaged in various philanthropic activities. Her interests included pottery, art, theatre, and traveling. She was an active member of YPO and EO Platinum.

Sunaina had two sons: Aryaman, who was a Junior at Columbia University studying Computer Science and Economics, and Nirvaan, who was in the 7th grade at the Bombay International School. She was married to Manish Kejriwal, the Founder & Managing Partner of Kedaara Capital, a Private Equity firm with AUM of over USD 5 billion. He had previously served as the country head at Temasek Holdings and was a former Partner at McKinsey & Company, having worked in their New York, Cleveland, and Mumbai offices.
